We're driving past a construction project near our house, which Aiden is always fascinated by, when he asks, "Mommy, why are the workers still there?"
"Well, it isn't time for them to go home yet--not until five o'clock," I answer.
"Or until their mommies call them. 'Wor-kers! Time to come home!' their mommies say, and then they'll leave. They have to listen to their mommies, or they'll have to go to the naughty spot. And NOBODY likes the naughty spot!"
